Marion Gottschalk, née Blatz, was born in 1969 in Hanau. After her banking training, she read economics and philosophy at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt. From the outset, as the daughter of founder-couple Blatz, she was involved in running the business. In 2009 she took over 25% of the company shares, and in 2010 she became its Managing Director signing responsible for the areas finance, Human Resources and organization. She has been married to Eric Gottschalk since 1994.

Eric Gottschalk was born in 1969 in Hanau. After completing a commercial apprenticeship of three years, followed by military service, he began his studies of economics at today's Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM) in Gießen, where he graduated in 1993 with a diploma in business management. His future father-in-law Wilhelm Blatz won Eric Gottschalk over to work for Ille. Today he is Ille's Managing Director for the areas logistics and our subsidiaries abroad. Eric Gottschalk has been married to Marion Gottschalk since 1994.

Andreas Trostmann was born in 1971 in Hanau. He completed his apprenticeship as an industrial clerk/ manager at the large and internationally renowned corporation of Heraeus in Hanau. In 1994, after the completion of his community service, he started his career at Ille as an assistant to company founder Wilhelm Blatz. Here he enjoyed an comprehensive business training in sales and worked with all relevant commercial departments. In 2010, along with the 2nd generation, he was appointed Managing Director. His primary focus and responsibilities are in sales.
